Append notes below item
The F9:Comments is, by default, inserted after a selected stock item.
The "Append notes below item" (Setup → Documents setup (Setup ribbon)) option is added to set the preference if comments should be added before, or after, a selected stock item when processing documents and printing comments on layout files.

If you change this "Append notes below item" setting when a Document entry form is open or active, you may need to go to Tools → Close active forms (Setup ribbon), before this setting will be activated. |
Insert comments below a selected item
"Append notes below item" = TICKED (selected). This is the default setting.

It will display on document lines and document layout files as follows:
- Item
- Remark
- Comment

Change the sequence of document lines in unposted documents: You may select an item, or a comment and right-click to change the sequence (order) on the document lines. On the context menu, the following options are available:
Should you select a comment only the selected comment will be moved up or down to the previous or next line. Should you select a item, the item and its remarks, if entered, will be moved up or down. Sort on stockcode - This will sort the items according to the items stock code in an alphabetical sequence. Note that comments will also be sorted alphabetically and will not be sorted with the stock item code. Sort on Suppliercode - This will sort the document lines to the supplier code, if available. |
